What we built.
Technical Shorthand Academy is a platform built for a client who wanted to start teaching typing and shorthand online. The platform includes a full typing practice module where users can hear audio and type simultaneously, view their speed and accuracy results, set custom timers, and add their own content to practice. It also includes a blog section, a course catalogue, and an admin panel to manage all content.

Where founders got stuck.
The core challenge was building a typing module that supports live audio playback so users can listen and type at the same time, a feature unique to shorthand training. Tracking real-time speed, accuracy, and session results required careful state management. The client came via personal network and needed a platform that could scale as their student base grew.
